The following Value Statement will drive our missions and visions:

PRACTICAL EVANGELISM
1. We believe that Christianity exists to share Christ with others. We believe the lost matter to God, and therefore to the church. We are committed to group, relational and mass evangelism. (Luke 5:30–32; Luke 15; Matthew 18:14). We will develop aptitudes that encourage numerical growth without compromising in any way our integrity or our commitment to biblical truths.

2. We value diversity and are committed to all people regardless of race, gender, age or lifestyle. We believe the church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure. (1 Corinthians 9:19–23).

DISCIPLESHIP & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

1. We are committed to equipping Christians through biblical preaching and the teaching of God’s word. We believe that anointed teaching is the catalyst for transformation in people’s individual lives and in the church.  (Romans 12:7; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; James 1:23–25).

2. We are committed to cell and house group ministry as this is where most individual transformation, conversion and leadership development takes place. We believe that life-change happens best in community. (Acts 2:44–47).

3. We are committed to helping men and women discover their spiritual gifts, so they might use them for the edification of the Body of Christ, the church. We believe the church should operate as a unified community of servants. (1 Corinthians 12 and 14; Romans 12; Ephesians 4; Psalm 133:1).

4. We are committed to the ministries of this church being carried out by servants of God. However, we believe that the followers Christ should manifest authenticity and yearn for continuous growth. (Ephesians 4:25–26, 32; Hebrews 12:1; Philippians 1:6).

5. We believe churches should be led by men and women with God-given leadership gifts. (Nehemiah 1–2; Romans 12:8; Acts 6:2–5).

CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION

1. We are committed to reliance on prayer for direction, conception, planning and execution of the ministries and activities of this church. (Isaiah 56:7; Matthew 21:13; Luke 18:1)

2. We are committed to receiving direction from the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, and the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord as he enables creativity and innovation (Is 11:1-5; Acts 8:29; Acts 10: 19-21). We are more concerned with effectiveness in ministry than with adherence to tradition.

3. We are committed to maintaining a high standard of excellence in all ministries. We believe excellence honours God and inspires people. (Colossians 3:17; Malachi 1:6–14; Proverbs 27:17).
