GPM Food Bank

GPM Food Bank programme seeks to address the rising food poverty identified in the borough of Lambeth. With local church donations and the assistance of the National Lottery Community Fund, we are able to provide food support to the BAME communities in Lambeth, as well as to our own members who may find it difficult to provide food for themselves or their families due to the COVID 19 pandemic. We are here to help, so do contact us.

How to make a Request for Food Items

If you would like to make a request please complete a request form or email: info@godprotects.org or call the ministry office on 07398148883. Where possible, all requests will be dropped off at the person’s home (doorstep).

I would like to Donate Food/Items

If you would like to make a donation of items to the GPM Food Bank to help a family or an individual, please email us at: info@godprotects.org and provide your name and contact number; someone will contact you to make the necessary arrangements in line with the current coronavirus (Covid-19) government guidelines.

I would like to Volunteer to Drive

If you are a God Protects Ministry member, partner or friend and would like to volunteer to assist our GPM Food Bank, e.g. as a driver to deliver food items, please email us at: info@godprotects.org. All volunteers will need to meet the criteria set out in the current government guidelines, which include the following.

Volunteers MUST:

1. disclose if they have any Covid 19 symptoms
2. be fit to both pack and carry food bags to beneficiaries  
3. keep social distancing by remaining 1-2 metres apart from any other person(s)
